SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, June 15. The Türkiye-Azerbaijan alliance is not a threat but a powerful source of securing our common geography, through which we closely monitor the regional stability agenda and keep to provide strong support to Azerbaijan's efforts to normalize the situation in the region, the First Deputy Chairman of the Justice and Development Party of Türkiye, and member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA) Efkan Ala said, Trend reports.
He made the statement at the international conference "Organization of Turkic States: towards new strategic goals in the context of geopolitical realities and global cataclysms," held in Shusha on June 15.
According to him, the Shusha Declaration is not only a document that contributes to bilateral relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan but also ensures security and permanent peace in the region.
To note, the international conference "Organization of Turkic States: towards new strategic goals in the context of geopolitical realities and global cataclysms" is being held in Shusha under the organization of the New Azerbaijan Party. The conference is attended by up to 300 guests, including leaders of the ruling parties of the member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and observers.
Three plenary sessions will be organized within the framework of the international conference: "Organization of Turkic States: Regional contribution to global security," "Unity of modernity and common values: Party diplomacy as a new platform for dialogue," and "Turkic World 2040: a conceptual view of the future".
