SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, July 22. The Second Shusha Global Media Forum has provided a wonderful experience for all attendants, Dan Mason Media Managing Director Dan Mason told Trend on the forum sidelines.
"This forum gathered representatives from 40 nationalities in an incredible location. It is remarkable that we were able to see not only the beautiful place but also the restoration work that has been done to bring Shusha and the Karabakh region back to life in such a short time," he emphasized.
Mason mentioned that the forum brought together outstanding professionals in the media field and organized excellent discussions that stimulated thinking and generated new ideas.
"It was a fantastic mix of cultures, with many people becoming acquainted with Azerbaijan and the Karabakh region. What role will this forum play in combating disinformation? So many media professionals and so many people with different perspectives who can share their views, their understanding, and their current stance on disinformation have gathered here.
Therefore, the opportunity to step back and observe how AI (artificial intelligence) and disinformation are navigating the global agenda in such varied ways is, I believe, the strongest factor of this forum in the fight against disinformation," he added.
The Second Shusha Global Media Forum is attended by 150 foreign guests from 49 countries, including news agencies from 34 countries, 12 international organizations and media entities, as well as 60 heads and representatives of Azerbaijani media.
