SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, July 25. People really enjoy visiting Azerbaijan's Karabakh, Charles Veley, head of the Most Traveled People (MTP) tourist club's delegation told reporters, Trend reports.
“We have been conducting tours of Karabakh for three years now, and for the fourth time, we are bringing the Most Traveled People to Karabakh. We have seen reconstruction in Fuzuli, Shusha, Aghdam, Lachin, and Eastern Zangezur, and these works are very impressive. Every time we see something new; there is a good future for tourism here,” he emphasized.
Veley added that three years ago in Shusha, there was only a city hall and ruins, but now a real city is being built here.
He mentioned that construction had also begun in Fuzili and that there were now airports in Zangilan, Fuzuli, and Lachin.
The delegation of 35 members of Most Traveled People (MTP), one of the four largest travel clubs in the world, arrived in Shusha city within the framework of their visit to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur.
During the visit, international travelers will get acquainted with the city of Shusha, its historical sites, and the mysterious nature of this place, as well as the reconstruction and construction works carried out by the Azerbaijani state after the liberation of the city from occupation.
The delegation is headed by Charles Veley, whose name was included in the top 10 list of world travelers, and international travelers from 13 countries (US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, the Philippines, Poland, Hungary, and others) joined the trip.
MTP (Most Traveled People) club members have visited Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur three times before; this is the 4th visit of its members to the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation. About 400 international travelers in large groups from nearly 50 countries have visited Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur 10 times in the four years since the second Karabakh war. Today's trip is the 11th.
