BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 25. Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with the Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Türkiye Kadir Ozkaya, Trend reports.
The meeting expressed satisfaction with the continued development of existing ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in all spheres, including political, trade-economic, investment, energy, transport-transit, and other areas. Meanwhile, a long-term fruitful partnership in the judicial and legal spheres was noted.
Furthermore, the sides stressed the importance of the efforts of the heads of Azerbaijan and Türkiye in raising the international authority of the Organization of Turkic States and turning it into a regional center of power.
The importance of cooperation between the constitutional courts of the two countries, both in bilateral format and within the framework of international organizations, and first of all within the framework of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of the Turkic World, was also noted.
The sides discussed the prospects of the development of Azerbaijani-Turkish mutually beneficial cooperation in various directions, including in the judicial-legal sphere.
Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan, Farhad Abdullayev, attended the meeting.
