BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 10. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree “On determining awards for athletes of Azerbaijan and their coaches for high results at the XVII Summer Paralympic Games in Paris”, Trend reports.
According to the decree of the Head of State, the athletes and coaches of the Republic of Azerbaijan have been awarded the following prizes for their outstanding performance at the XVII Summer Paralympic Games:
200,000 manat ($117,650) to each first-place athlete, 100,000 manat ($58,825) to his/her coach;
100,000 manat ($58,825) to each second-place athlete and 50,000 manat ($29,412) to his/her coach;
50,000 manat ($29,412) to each third-place athlete, and 25,000 manat ($14,706) to his/her coach.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan is entrusted to solve the issues arising from this decree.
