BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 24. Improtex group has presented three new armored vehicles at the ADEX-2024 exhibition in Baku, Improtex group's mine clearance project manager Farid Abdullayev told reporters, Trend reports.
According to him, the ADEX exhibition has become a traditional platform for the company to demonstrate new products, and this year is no exception.
“At the last exhibition, we presented mine clearance equipment, and now a whole line of armored vehicles is offered to your attention.
This year we are presenting ITX-15 M, ITX-20-H, and ITX-6-L. These platforms are designed to perform a wide variety of tasks. We are presenting not just an ambulance but an armored vehicle with the level of protection of the MRAP class, withstanding an explosive load of up to ten kilograms,” he stressed.
Abdullayev pointed out that the main task is to create platforms that can be adapted to the needs of the army and paramilitary structures.
“These vehicles can be used as personnel transport, patrol vehicles, command posts, and medical evacuation vehicles. Improtex is committed to reducing dependence on imports by offering the most customized solutions for the needs of the country's military structures. Our priority is to provide local paramilitary structures and then enter export markets,” Abdulayev added.
The 5th anniversary of the of the Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition "ADEX", the largest event dedicated to the defense industry in the region, is being held September 24-26 at Baku Expo Center. The 14th International Exhibition of Equipment for Internal Security, Safety, and Rescue "Securex Caspian" is organized in parallel.
The first "ADEX" exhibition was organized in 2014. The list of exhibitors and the sectors it covers expands from year to year.
The exhibition has brought together many companies representing more than 50 countries and about 200 official delegations over 10 years of successful activity. Over the years, the exhibition has been visited by more than 30,000 guests.
