BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. On September 26, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Foreign Minister of Egypt Badr Abdulati on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said, Trend reports.
It was noted that constructive friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt, based on mutual respect and trust, have a long history. The importance of the latest official visit of the President of Azerbaijan to Egypt was emphasized in terms of opening a new page for the development of our bilateral relations and identifying numerous opportunities for cooperation.
The meeting included an exchange of views on bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt.
In addition, topics related to COP29, the post-conflict situation in the region, as well as the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia were discussed.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on other bilateral and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
