BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 6. Transformation of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) into a reliable organization in the region and throughout the world in the 15 years since its foundation by the historic Nakhchivan Agreement during a period of declining trust in international institutions and institutions gratifies, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said, Trend reports.
He made the remark addressing the 11th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the OTS in Bishkek today.
The minister expressed confidence that the adoption of all documents, including the Declaration and Charter of the Turkic World, at the Summit on "Strengthening the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future, and Security for All," will positively influence the Organization's development dynamics.
Speaking about the ongoing large-scale restoration and construction efforts in Azerbaijan's liberated territories, Bayramov highlighted that the restoration efforts are creating broad opportunities for joint cooperation, including the development of the Middle Corridor.
In addition, he detailed Azerbaijan's presidency at COP29, emphasizing that several joint initiatives will be part of this prestigious event, which will take place for the first time in the Turkic world.
To note, the 11th meeting is being held in anticipation of the 11th OTS Summit, which will focus on the theme "Strengthening the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future, and Security for All."
During the meeting, the leaders will discuss the further development of multilateral cooperation within the OTS framework, address ongoing issues on the organization's agenda, and sign several multilateral documents, including the final Summit Declaration.
