BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 6. We stand ready to further strengthen the Georgian-Azerbaijani partnership, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said in his letter to Azerbaijani counterpart Ali Asadov, Trend reports.
"I express my sincere gratitude for your congratulations and kind wishes on the occasion of our victory in the parliamentary election in Georgia.
Taking this opportunity, I once again affirm our readiness to further strengthen the partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
The strategic relations between our countries pose utmost importance for peace and stability in the region, and I believe that, through our joint efforts, our cooperation in all areas will be further strengthened," the letter reads.
To note, Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream Party hit the jackpot in the parliamentary election held on October 26, snagging over 54 percent of the vote.
