BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 18. Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Ali Asadov has met with the President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian as part of his working visit to Tehran, Trend reports.
Asadov conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Masud Pezeshkian.
At the meeting, opinions were exchanged on issues related to the development of Azerbaijan-Iran relations based on the principles of friendship and good neighborliness and the enrichment of mutually beneficial cooperation with new content.
Issues related to the implementation of projects implemented between Azerbaijan and Iran in the fields of transport, energy, and oil and gas were reviewed.
Emphasizing the importance of the 3rd Caspian Economic Forum, Azerbaijan views the Caspian Sea as a sea of peace, friendship, and cooperation.
Current issues were also discussed, taking into account the new realities in the region.
