The union “Social Leaders” raised its protest at the rejection by
Azerbaijani authorities of a package of proposals on changes in the Election Code. The document has been drawn up by non-governmental organizations.
The president of the National forum of NGOs of Azerbaijan and member of “Social Leaders”, Azay Guliyev noted that the authorities have ruled out the approval of proposals on involvement of NGO representatives as bipartisan members of election commissions, as well as conducting exit polls by NGOs.
