The fact that a member of the Divan (political council) of the Musavat party Rasim Musabekov nominated his candidature for the parliamentary elections from Nasimi-Sabayil constituency N 23 not according to the list of the Azadlig electoral block, but as an independent candidate caused the issue of his expelling from the party to be put on the agenda. His participation at the elections as an independent candidate will not make any problems, Musabekov told Trend.
According to the decision of the Azadlig block, in case any of the three parties’ members nominates his candidature as an independent candidate he will expelled from the party. Musabekov stated, he will not be expelled and the matter is settled.
The press service of the Musavat paty reported, the issue related to Musabekov will be discussed inside the party and at the meeting of the Azadlig block leaders and the relevant decision will be taken.
