Azerbaijan believes that the world community will shortly recognize Armenia as aggressor and demand the liberation of occupied territory of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev, told a briefing dedicated to results of his recent visit to Riga at the invitation of his Latvian counterpart, Eynars Repshe, Trend reports.
According to Abiyev, Azerbaijan will restore its territorial integrity, and will not yield its historical lands to Armenia. В"All occupied lands, including Nagorno-Karabakh, should be returned to Azerbaijan.
After we could agree on granting Nagorno-Karabakh with a status of autonomy, guarantee the security of people and development of economy,” the Defense minister stated.
В"We are concerned on the dual standards demonstrated in the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. We are keen on the peaceable resolution of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict,” Abiyev stressed.
The same time the Minister underlined Azerbaijan’s concerns on the concentration of considerable amount of ammunitions and armed technique in the area under occupation of Armenian.
