We consider next campaign against Ali Karimli and the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP - reformers) as provocation and violation, but such cheap campaign will not affect on the victory of Karimli and other candidates of the party at the parliamentary elections, Fuad Mustafayev, the first deputy chairman of the PFAP, told Trend.
The posters with depiction of Karimli and the Armenian flag were pasted up in different places of Baku. According to Mustafayev, similar steps are serious violation as pre-elections campaign has not officially started.
The campaign against the opposition may starts from 7 September. “The text of the posters does not reflect reality and is slanderous. We know the posters are made at the President’s Apparat,” Mustafayev noted.
He also stressed that the party addressed to the Central Elections Committee and other state bodies in this regard.
