“I waited for my visit to Baku for all my life,” Rauf Denktash, the first President and founder of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, told Trend on Monday at Heydar Aliyev Airport.
According to Denktash, it is necessary to remove the international isolation and establish diplomatic relationships with the world countries to over the isolation.
“Everything can be achievable,” he underlined. The patience is of urgent importance in state affairs.
Touching upon the bilateral relationships between Lefkoshe and Baku Denktash noted that it was necessary to consolidate the warm bonds between the nations of Azerbaijan and Northern Cypriot.
The ex-President said that under the visit to Baku he will also hold talks with the Azerbaijani officials.
