The cooperation between the election blocks “Yeni Siyaset” and “Azadlig” representing the opposition did not take place. The “Yeni Siyaset” block demands explanations from Azadlig, “Yeni Siyaset” told Trend. Despite the positive attitude to the cooperation of Azadlig leaders Isa Gambar and Ali Kerimli, the first deputy chairman of the DPA Party Sardar Djalalogli spoke out with some charges against “Yeni Siyaset”. The DPA functionary said, establishing the Yeni Siyaset block is illegal, as public organizations are represented there, therefore this organization cannot be considered as the election block. Djalalogli also alleges, there are no sound oppositional forces in Yeni Siyaset.
The Azadlig block replied positively to the appeal and voiced its consent to cooperation. Anyhow, the Yeni Siyaset members found it unacceptable to cooperate with Azadlig. Yeni Siyaset stated, the DPA functionary’s claims are groundless, as the block had been founded by three political parties.
