Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (FM) and Egypt are carrying out preparations for the forthcoming official visit of the Azerbaijan’s FM head Elmar Mammadyarov to Egypt, FM told Trend.
The visit is scheduled for the second half of autumn, the exact date is specified, it depends on the schedule of the Minister, FM reported. During the visit discussion of a complex of issues on bilateral cooperation is planned, the sides will also hold exchange of opinions on international issues and the situation. Preliminary consultations at the level of both countries’ foreign departments have been held during the recent visit of the deputy Foreign Minister Halaf Halafov to Cairo.
Meetings of Mammadyarov are planned at various state structures of Egypt: at the Foreign Ministry, the Ministry of Trade and Economy, at legislative and top body of the country. The sides will also exchange views on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement.
