CEC OF RUSSIA DOES NOT PLAN TO SEND OBSERVERS TO AZERBAIJAN SEPARATELY FROM CIS MISSION

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Russia is not going to send observers to Azerbaijan separately from the CIS mission, the head of the Russia’s CEC international department Andrey Davidov told Trend in his exclusive interview.

According to him, Russia will observe the course of the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan only as CIS observation mission member, sending of separate mission here is not supposed. The head of the Russia’ CEC department has not also ruled out the possibility of involvement in the elections of the observers from the Russian regions.

Davydov has also denied the reports of the Azerbaijani media on the visit of the Russia’ CEC chairman, Alexander Vyshnyakov to Azerbaijan. According to him, it is only rumours and they are not true.
