Georgian CEC to deliver 11,000 inking sets to Baku

Georgia will deliver technical assistance to Azerbaijan during the parliamentary elections scheduled for 6 November 2005, Trend reports with reference to Prime News agency.It is dealt with deliver of inking means to Azerbaijan. Inking of voters’ fingers, repeatedly tested in the parliamentary and presidential elections, is the best method of registration of the voters. After the voting the elector inks her finger with a special invisible liquid, which can be seen only through a special machine. Thus, inking prevents repeated participation of one and the same person in the elections.

On Friday the CEC will deliver to Baku 11,000 inking sets.

A relevant agreement was achieved during the telephone talk on Thursday between the Azerbaijani and Georgian Presidents, Mickael Saakashivili and Ilham Aliyev.
