Georgian CEC to deliver 11,000 inking sets to Baku
Georgia will deliver technical assistance to Azerbaijan during the parliamentary elections scheduled for 6 November 2005, Trend reports with reference to Prime News agency.It is dealt with deliver of inking means to Azerbaijan. Inking of votersвЂ™ fingers, repeatedly tested in the parliamentary and presidential elections, is the best method of registration of the voters. After the voting the elector inks her finger with a special invisible liquid, which can be seen only through a special machine. Thus, inking prevents repeated participation of one and the same person in the elections.
On Friday the CEC will deliver to Baku 11,000 inking sets.
A relevant agreement was achieved during the telephone talk on Thursday between the Azerbaijani and Georgian Presidents, Mickael Saakashivili and Ilham Aliyev.
