The opposition anew wants to see tents in Azerbaijan,” Mubariz Gurbanly, the Deputy Executive Secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) told Trend.
He was commenting of the will of the opposition to install tents in Galaba square.
Gurbanly said that if the opposition, which lost the recent elections, wants to gain the votes through the establishment of tents, it is deeply mistaken. He stressed that the Azerbaijani authorities were long involved in removing the tents set up since 1992 due to inexperience of the opposition, while the opposition intends anew install tents.
He underlined that orange tents can be approved only by the foreign patronages. “If the opposition acting under strange flags, strange slogans, strange portraits wants to return to tents, then they deserve it,” he emphasized.
