“If disputes arise at the Union of National Democratic Forces (UNDF) in relation to the results of the elections, the ways of the parties can diverge,” Elchin Mirzabayli, the deputy chairman of the Unified Party of Popular Front of Azerbaijan (UPPFA), represented at the UNDF, told Trend.

It should be mentioned that besides the UPPFA, only Takamul (Evolution) Party was presented at the UNDF. Teyyub Ganioglu, the head of the party, participated in the meeting of Azadlig’ election bloc in relation to the candidates, whose rights were violated in the elections. Gudrat Hassanguliyev, the chairman of the UPPFA, who was elected MP, stated about democratic organization of the elections.

Mirzabayli also noted that the UNDF would express attitude to the results of the elections after the final conclusion by the Central Election Committee (CEC). “Ganioglu did not address to the UNDF to join the struggle of Azadl;ig’ bloc in relation to repeated holding of the elections. But I supposed, that the issue between the two heads would be solved positively,” he added.
