Preliminary Program of Iranian FM head visit to Azerbaijan prepared

The preliminary program of the Iranian Foreign Minister (FM) head, Manuchehr Mottaki official visit to Azerbaijan has been prepared, the head of the media and information policy department of the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tair Tagizade told Trend.

The visit is scheduled for 28 November and it will be a one-day visit. It is planned that
the FM head of Iran will arrive to Baku early in the morning and in the evening he will depart home. The visit’s program includes attending the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs, the Iranian Embassy to Azerbaijan, a meeting with the Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov at the end of which at 11.45 a.m. a briefing of the both ministers will be held at the Foreign Ministry, Tagizade reported.

The Foreign Minister of Iran is scheduled also to meet with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The sides intend to discuss the issues of the bilateral development, to hold exchange of views on the regional and international matters, as well as implementation of large joint and regional economic projects.

It will be the first visit of Mottaki as the Foreign Minister of Iran.
