The necessity for serious changes in regional relations of the Organization for Economic Cooperation (OEC) member states has emerged, the congratulatory message from the president of Iran Mahmud Ahmedinedjat to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the occasion of the 13-th anniversary of OEC establishment reads, Trend reports citing the press release of the Iranian Embassy to Azerbaijan.
In the opinion of the Iranian President, this necessity is caused by the agreements signed over the OEC states cooperation in the field of trade and the transit transport, setting up the OEC bank and etc.
The President of Iran express his confidence that the atmosphere, the active involvement of Azerbaijan in the organization, as well as the support of the Azerbaijan’s president will serve the regional people’s well-being, including Iran and Azerbaijan.
Mahmud Ahmedinedjat expressed also readiness of Iran to do its utmost for the successful implementation of the organization’s goals and development of bilateral relations in the OEC frameworks.
