“Isa Gambar, the chairman of Musavat Party, is a leader of the �Our Azerbaijan’ bloc,” Arzuman Hassanov, the chairman of the Labor Party, stated to a meeting of the bloc on 1 December, Trend reports.
Attending the meeting, which was held in the office of Musavat, were parties supporting only Gambar. The �Our Azerbaijan’ member-parties, which do not recognize leadership of Gambar, held a meeting in the office of the Turkish Nationalists Party on 30 November.
Hassanov noted that the bloc consisted of the parties recognizing leadership of Gambar. “We regard holding of the meeting on 30 November as legitimate,” the chairman of the Labor Party stressed.
He also noted that 12 parties participated in the meeting of the bloc on Thursday and underlined that similar meetings would be held regularly in the office of Musavat.
The press service of Musavat was instructed not to give information about the meeting of the bloc held on 1 December.
Other member of the bloc, chairman of the Turkish Nationalists Party Vugar Bekturan stressed that development of events on this scenario was sign of split in the organization.
