“The Opposition put off the action planned for 10 December,” Hasan Karimov, the deputy chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP), told Trend.
The Baku Executive Power sanctioned holding of the action scheduled for 10 December not in Galaba square, but in �Motodrom’ stadium. Karimov stated that the leaders of �Azadlig’ (Freedom) election bloc decided never to hold actions in �Motodrom’ stadium. Therefore, they did not accept the proposal of the Baku authorities.
“We regard holding of unsanctioned rally as inexpedient. The authorities desire to provoke us. Therefore, we put off the 10 December action,” Karimov stressed.
