Next meeting of Azeri-French Joint Economic Commission put off

The next meeting of the Azerbaijani-French Joint Economic Commission, which was planned to be held in Paris in mid-December, was put off till indefinite time, the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers told Trend.

The sides plan to discuss perspectives of the trade and economic, scientific and technical, cultural cooperation between the countries, as well as increase of goods turnover. The meeting of the commission is expected to be held in early 2006.

The Azerbaijani governmental delegation led by Prime-Minister Artur Rasizade, the co-chairman of the commission, will pay a visit to Paris to participate in the meeting. The French co-chairman of the commission is Kristin Lagart, the Foreign Trade Minister.
