President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on holding the 8-th annual sitting of the Black Sea Bank of Trade and Development (BSBTD) and the Black Sea business forum in Baku.
The Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev has been appointed the chairman of the ad hoc, being at the same time director at BSBDT from Azerbaijan, Trend reports. His deputy is executive director of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan Republic (SOFAR) Samir Sharifov (director representing Azerbaijan at BSBDT). Top officials of the country’s most Ministries and Departments comprised the organizational committee.
Taking into account that the chairmanship at BSBDT Board of Directors, the supreme body of the bank’s management, passed on to the Azerbaijan Republic at the 7-th annual sitting of BSBDT, in accordance with the decision adopted at the sitting, the 8-th annual bank’s sitting will take place on 11 June 2006 and the Black Sea business forum вЂ" on12 June in Baku.
