Head of Azeri SBS denies statements about establishment of favorable conditions for Chechen militants at border

Elchin Guliyev, the head of the State Border Service (SBS), denied information spread by some Russian media on favorable conditions established for crossing the Azerbaijani borders by Chechen militants, Trend reports referring to Lider TV.

According to Guliyev, the rumors were repeatedly denied by the officials of the Russian border establishment. During the visit to Azerbaijan the head of the North Caucasus district of the Russian Federal Border Service stated that they did not have similar information.
