Azeri Prosecutor General’s Office interrogates witnesses of jet crash

“The Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office interrogated the witnesses of the jet crash taken place on 23 December,” Antiga Gonagova, the employee of the press service of the establishment, told Trend.

According to Gonagova, the Prosecutor General’s Office filed a criminal case on article 262.3 (violation of rules of safety and exploitation of air transport) of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code.

It should be mentioned that the jet crash happened on 23 December. The jet belonged to AZAL State Air Lines Company took off from Heydar Aliyev Baku International Airport on the Baku-Actau route and fell to the sea in several minutes. 5 members of crew and 18 passengers died as a result of the accident.
