Azeri vice speaker to hold meetings at Russian parliament

Valeh Alasgarov, the vice speaker of the Milli Majlis [Azerbaijan parliament] will leave for Moscow on Tuesday with an official visit. The key objective of the visit is to carry out consultations at the Council of Russian Federation and the State Duma [parliament], a parliament source told Trend.

Alasgarov plans to meet with deputy chairman of the Council of Russian Federation, Svetlana Orlova, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma [parliament], Oleg Morozov, the chairmen of the permanent parliamentary commissions on energy, transport and communications, international relationships, natural resources and nature utility, as well as senior state officials. They held talks on further development of interparliamentary relationships, exchange of experience in the sphere of legislation.
