We [opposition group at parliament] have not received a reply to an appeal sent early January with request to hold a meeting with the speaker, Oktai Asadov, the chairman of the Great Establishment Party, Fazil Gazanfaroglu, one of the members of the opposition group, told Trend.
He noted that the key objective of the meeting with the speaker was conduct of discussion on the formation of the Central Elections Commission and further activities of the opposition group at the parliament. Though the coordinator of the group, Igbal Agazade, appealed the speaker in this respect, no reply has followed. But we insist to have a meeting, he added.
An opposition group established at the parliament includes 5 MPs Igbal Afazade, Fazil Gazanfaroglu, Aynur Guliyeva, Gudrat Hasanguliyev and Sabir Rustamkhanly.
