The next meeting of the Presidium of the Popular Front of United Azerbaijan Party (PFUAP) was held. The major topic of the discussions at the meeting was interference of the police in the protest action, held by our compatriots in relation to the Khojaly genocide at the front of the Armenian Church in Iran, Trend reports.
The party adopted a statement on releasing of 60 Azerbaijanis, arrested as a result of the action. The same time party mentioned importance of the careful approach to the problems of the Azerbaijanis, living in their historical lands in South Azerbaijan [Iran], informing of international organizations about violation of their simple human rights.
