Azeri oil market: results of week

From 27 through 31 March AZERI LT average price, sold by Azerbaijan in Novorossiysk port, was $64.38 per barrel or $1.52 per barrel down as compared to the previous week, Trend reports. In this period maximal price of AZERI LT was $65/92 per barrel, minimal - $62.84 per barrel.

Last week price of URAL (EX-NOVO), marketed at the Novorossiysk port, was $57.93 per barrel, or $2.52 per barrel more than the average price of the previous week. URAL maximal price comprised $51.05, minimal one - $61.05 per barrel.

Brent average price (DTD) was $63.97 per barrel ($2.46 down as compared to previous week). Brent maximal price comprised $66.05 per barrel, minimal price of Brent was $61.40 per barrel.

The density of Azeri Light is 34.6 degrees by API, sulphur content 0.14%.

The density of oil URAL is 32 degrees by API, sulphur content - 1.3%. The density of oil

DTD is 38.3 degrees by API, sulphur content - 0.36%. The density of URAL is 32 degrees by API, the sulphur content 1.3%. The density of DTD oil is 38.3 degrees by API, the sulphur content 0.36%.

In 2006 the SOCAR planed to ship from the port 2,011 million tons of Urals against 1,631 million tons in 2005. Until the exploitation of the BTC the SOCAr intends to export 80,000-85,000 tons of oil a month. Following the commissioning of the BTC, which is scheduled for early May-late June, the northern route will be filly under SOCARs disposal.
