Intention-letter of the new American ambassador have been submitted to the Foreign ministry, the vice foreign minister, Araz Azimov told at the press-conference in Baku on April 6, Trend reports.
He did not disclose the name of the future ambassador, adding that according to the diplomatic practice all details of the diplomat `s career are now being clarified.
The current US ambassador, Reno Harnish leaves the country at the end of this month; he has to be replaced by the end of August.
