The clarification process of voters lists by the Informational Center Sechkiler (Elections) of the Central Elections Commission (CEC) will be over in the evening of April 8, the Informational Center Sechkiler director, Igbal Babayev told Trend.
According to the Electoral codex, all changes and supplements in the voters lists, clarification of names, addresses 25 days before the elections have to done by the electoral bodies. After the expiration of the given term and before the elections it would be possible to do only through the court. Today is the last day when voters who did not find their names in the lists can address the commission, Babayev said.
Address, residence, second name changes create a number of problems during each elections. In general, the clarification process will continue in all electoral districts of the country till the end of May. Statistical lists of voters from around the country will be published at the end of May.
