State Property Management Committee has drawn up a draft of State program for Modernization of governmental property management scheduled for years 2006-2010, Trend reports with reference to Kerem Gasanov, head of the Committee, who spoke at the conference April 14. The program incorporates the goals and directions of management, and also organization and coordination, as well as the use of real estate and other issues.
In general, in the first quarter the State Committee has drawn up around 30 drafts of regulatory documents regarding estimation of governmental property, increase of its management efficiency, acceleration of privatization and creation of mechanisms for investments control.
Mr Gasanov said the State Committee will also draw the proposals on opening some enterprises of various spheres for privatization. These are chemical facilities, oil engineering plants, agricultural factories, construction companies, service agencies of fuel and power engineering, road and water transport sectors, as well as commercial organizations of health protection, education, sports and culture.
Besides, a draft of revisions to the State program for governmental property privatization has been submitted to the government. The head of the Committee said the draft included amendments on methods of property sale and sharing.
