Preparation to the meeting of GUA national coordinators (Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova) is going on, Trend reports with reference to Sabuhi Temirov, Azerbaijans permanent representative to GUAM.
In the course of he meeting held on the eve of late-May GUAM summit in Kiev it is scheduled to discuss the agenda of the meeting of heads of states, which will be adjusted by national coordinators and submitted to ministries of Exterior, which, in turn, should approve it for the further consideration at the summit itself, Mr Temirov said.
Ukrainian Ministry of exterior, he continued, had already established a summit committee that already started arrangement operations. Ukrainian side has offered the concrete dates of the summit to be held May 22 to 23, and this date is still being considered.
At the summit it is expected to approve some regulations to transform GUAM into an international organization. In this connection, prior to the summit the member-countries representatives shall meet to finally agree on the agenda and documents to be signed.
