The head of the CE Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) observation mission for the re-run parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, Leo Platvoet met with the Azerbaijani Central Elections Commission (CEC) head, Mazahir Panaxov on April 27, Platvoet said himself answering journalists questions, Trend reports.
Wide discussions have been held during the meeting. Sides discussed more than 1.000 complaints, arrived with the regard of the last year` s elections. We still have some disagreements left. CEC head said, he will check them, Platvoet explained.
Speaking about the disagreements, Platvoet argued that according to the available information 500 complaints out of 1.000 have been rejected. However, CEC disagreed with the statement, assuring that all complains were reviewed. We discussed this matter, Platvoet said.
