BTC pipeline implementation is important for economic and political stability in the region, the Georgian parliamentary speaker, Nino Burjanadze told at the international action with the participation of Azerbaijani, Georgian and Turkish women on May 2 in Tbilisi, Trend reports.
Admitting guests in parliament, Burjanadze announced that active role of women in political-economic processes in the region is welcome. Despite countries in the region acquired their independence they still energetically dependent on other countries. The more energetically independent countries become the more independent they become from other states, she added.
She also emphasized a significant role of Azerbaijani, Georgian and Turkish MPs in implementation of Baku-TbilisiCeyhan pipeline.
Participants of the international action met with the residents of Marneul district and visited Youth houses in Tbilisi.
