Action plan of TRACECA program for 2006 envisages 4 projects with the total estimated value of 13.5m euros, Trend reports citing Lyudmila Trenkova, Secretary General of TRACECA stated to a news conference on 10 May.
The national secretary of TRACECA for Azerbaijan, Akif Mustafayev, said that the funds will be spent on the establishment of a network of logistic centers for TRACECA embers-states. The project is estimated to 5.5m euros. The cost of the project on development of
general security management system and cooperation in the sphere of sea shipment, prevention of pollution made by vessels in the Caspian and Black Seas is 3.5m euros. The project on improvement and training for administration in the sphere of civil aviation and staff costs 2m euros.
A project on the sea main in the Caspian and Blacks Seas (including purchase of computers and communications equipment, as well as software of ports in estimated to 500,000 euros) is valued at 2.5m euros. The length of the project is 24 months.
Trenkova noted that the implementation of projects should be confirmed at the European Commission.
