The Azerbaijani Transport Ministry has developed a draft law on Automobile Transport, Musa Panahov, the First Deputy Transport Minister, told Trend.
Now the document is under the consideration of the Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Finances, the Ministry of Justice, the Customs and Frontier services, as well as different ministries and departments, he underlined. The law is needed for the regulation and increase of efficiency of the work of automobile transport in Azerbaijan.
At present the Ministry continues work over development of a draft law on railway transport. The railway transport has its own charter and rules of transportation. However, these are disembodied documents. The Ministry intends to design a unified document on railway transport, Panahov underscored. The document can be in the form of code. It will regulate the rules, responsibilities and priorities of the railway transportation.
