Delegation of Milli Medjlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan, headed by Chairman Ogtay Asadov, left for Estonia to participate in European Conference of Presidents of Parliament held in Tallinn May 30 to 31, 2006, Trend reports with reference to press service of Milli Medjlis.
The delegation consists of Milli Medjlis deputies, officials of presidents administration and the parliament secretariat.
On May 30, European Conference of Presidents of Parliament is starting in Tallinn. At the conference two main themes will be discussed: В"Bridgebuilding through Parliamentary DiplomacyВ" and В"Role of parliaments in promoting pluralistic democracy at home and abroadВ".
On June 1 Azeri delegation is heading for Helsinki to participate in the events on centenary of Finnish parliament. Then MMs delegation is leaving for Latvia, where it is suggested to attend Azeri Embassy in this country and meet with our compatriots residing here.
