DYNAMIC Of GDP CHANGE DUE TO CONSUMPTION

In January to April 2006 the GDP calculated through the consumption method comprised 4056.7m manats, or 19.4% down as compared to the GDP ratio calculated by the State Statistics Committee through the production method

Special weight of investment demand grew from 38.9% fixed in January to April of 2005 to 41% in 2006.

Special weight of aggregate consumption demand rose from 41.3% in 2005 to 48.6% in January April 2006.

Public consumption grew both in absolute and relative prices. The expenses for purchase of goods and services rose by 65.3 as compared to 2005, while the special weight grew from 4.5% to 7.4% in the structure of consumption.

In the January to April the domestic production failed to meet the demand and the major part of it was covered at the expense of import. As to foreign demand on local export product it remains to be high, while the export sector speeds up.

The special weight of export in GDP dropped from 15.3% in January to April 2005 to 2.9% in 2006.
