The opposition parties in Azerbaijan make use of each opportunity to create a negative opinion in the republic because it is clear that the relations between official Baku and the Council of Europe are developing. Ali Ahmadov, the executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), made such a statement in his interview to journalists,Trend reports.
During the final elections, it was clear what political forces Azeri people support and I am sure that the statements of loser parties cannot become criteria for the development of relations between international organizations and Azerbaijan, told Ahmadov.
Besides, Ahmedov ruled out that NAP attached a great importance to the development of relations with the Council of Europe. I dont think that the summer session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) will come to a negative conclusion regarding Azerbaijan. There is not any base for danger. The discussions are held in a constructive atmosphere, emphasized Ahmadov.
