Licenses of private institutions infringing the rules of operation may be canceled, reportedly said Misir Mardanov, Education Minister of Azerbaijan.
By his words, only the ministry is authorized to license private universities and it may cancel their licenses if revealing legislation violation or gross misconduct, as it happened with Independent Azerbaijan University.
The minister said he does not rule out the repetition of such incident with other private universities.
