In general, 793 persons have put forward their candidatures. 736 of them received signature lists in district election commissions. 95 persons have completed the campaign of signature collection and submitted the lists. The candidatures of 66 persons have been registered in district election commissions.
377 out of them are not members of any party, but 335 are the members of New Azerbaijan Party. 7 persons have been nominated by Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, 3 by Musavat party, 3 by Social Welfare Party, 3 by Civil Unity Party, 2 by Azerbaijan Democratic Party.
