The 5th plenary meeting of the South Caucasus Parliamentary Initiative will be held in London from 20 to 24 July within the framework of the non-governmental organization LINKS, the parliament told Trend reports.
Attending the gathering will be the chairman of the permanent parliamentary
commission on agrarian policy of Milli Majlis [Azerbaijani parliament], Eldar Ibrahimov, the chairman of the permanent parliamentary commission on social policy, Hadi Rajabli and MP Siyavush Novruzov.
The agenda of the gathering includes the general political situation in the South Caucasus, ways for resolution of the conflict, expansion of the relationships with the European bodies, as well as some organization issues. Azerbaijani MPs will participate in the discussion of the agenda to state the position of their country.
During the visit they are scheduled to hold meetings at the Committee of the Commons and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the UK.
