The Azerbaijani ambassador to Austria Fuad Ismayilov held meetings with the senior officials of the Federal province of Upper Austria, Trend reports quoting the press-centre of Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry.
During the visit to the province, the diplomat held meetings with the governor of the province Josef Pyuringer, the president of Economic Chamber Rudolf Traunerm, vise-major of the city Lins Kristina Doleshal and the head of Azerbaijani-Austrian society Jangir Talebi. The ambassador expressed the interest of Azerbaijan in the development of the economic relations with the province. Ismayilov acted with an initiative to establish relations between Lints and Sumgait.
The governor of the province supported this proposal and promised to make contribution to its realization. Besides, the sides exchanged views on the prospects of the cooperation in the sphere of tourism, industry, transport, etc.
