If OSCE Baku Office does not reply on the apply of the National NGO Forum, then three drafts prepared by us with the goal to improve the legislative base of NGOs will be repeatedly submitted to the Milli Majlis, Farsat Gurbanov, the executive director of the National NGO Forum told Trend.
On June 28 by supporting of the Project of Civil Society of the US International Development Agency, the National NGO Forum held a seminar on discussing of analyses of the following drafts: On Social Unions, On Funds, On Charitable activity and other ones with the goal to improve the legislative base of NGOs.
F. Gurbanov told that proposals put forward during the seminar`s discussion were taken into consideration. The documents were sent back to the working groups for reconsideration. The drafts are totally prepared. We intend to submit them to the OSCE Baku Office with the goal to get their conclusion. We have already addressed OSCE on this issue. But we have not got any reply on our appeal, told F. Gurbanov.
F. Gurbanov also pointed out that if the OSCE Baku Office does not reply on their appeal, then after the documents are repeatedly considered by the National NGO Forum`s lawyers, they will be submitted to the Milli Majlis.
