The Taxes Ministry of Azerbaijan is completing the project of changes and additions to the Tax Code, the deputy tax minister Natig Amirov told. According to him, about 90% of additions have already been agreed.
At the moment, the Taxes Ministry has prepared four-five projects of changes, but the ministry doesnt exclude the possibility of increasing their number. One of the implies raising the taxes. But we are considering the issue of applying concrete taxes to certain spheres, for instance, to the passenger transportation, Amirov told.
The Tax Code will mainly reflect changes touching on the increasing of penalties for facts of breaking cash calculations with the population. Today, 90% of trade objects have been provided with control-cash registers. Besides, he noted that in the future, the ministry will more seriously approach the objects that havent installed cash registers.
